hashd documentation

hashd is an orchestration system for AI coding agents. It plans the work, runs agents in isolated git worktrees, grounds them in the structure of your code, gates each change through tests and review, and records the full lineage of every commit. Run it on your own machine, or as a shared server for your whole team.

Start here

  • Quickstart: install hashd and take your first story from requirement to merge.
  • Concepts: suggestions, stories, workstreams and micro-commits, and the gates between them.
  • Team server: turn an install into a shared server and add your team.

Reference

  • Agents: supported agents, per-stage assignment and per-user credentials.
  • Provenance: hashd lineage, attestation export and hash-chain verification.
  • Commands: the everyday CLI.
  • Configuration: project settings, test commands, autonomy modes and hooks.

Getting help

Run hashd doctor to diagnose your setup: it reports missing tools, agent authentication problems and configuration drift, with the exact commands to fix them. Every hashd command also has --help. For anything else, write to [email protected].
