hashd license

hashd is owned by Coderica Inc. ("Coderica", "we"). This license is an agreement between you and Coderica. By installing or using hashd you agree to it. If you are using hashd for an organization, you agree on its behalf. If you do not agree, do not install or use hashd.

1. Free license for Solo Mode

If you are eligible under section 2, Coderica grants you a free, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use hashd in Solo Mode, for personal or commercial work.

"Solo Mode" means hashd's default single-user deployment mode, in which one individual operates hashd, including from more than one of their own devices.

2. Who needs a commercial agreement

You need a valid, current commercial agreement with Coderica that covers your use:

• to use team mode: multi-user operation, including adding users, issuing user tokens, or sharing one hashd server among more than one person;
• to receive support from Coderica; or
• for any use of hashd, including Solo Mode, on behalf of an organization with more than 10 engineers. "Engineers" means the organization's employees and contractors, including those of its affiliates, who write, review or maintain software.

Individuals, and organizations with 10 or fewer engineers, may use Solo Mode under section 1 without a commercial agreement. When a commercial agreement ends or expires, the rights it granted end with it. Coderica may use license keys or other technical measures to enable the features a commercial agreement covers.

3. What you may not do

Except as this license or a written agreement with Coderica allows, you may not: (a) sell, rent, sublicense, distribute or otherwise make hashd available to others; (b) modify hashd or create derivative works of it; (c) reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble hashd, except to the extent applicable law expressly permits despite this restriction; (d) remove or work around any license limitation or technical restriction, including those that separate Solo Mode from team mode; or (e) remove any proprietary notices.

4. Ownership

hashd is licensed, not sold. Coderica and its licensors own all rights, title and interest in hashd. All rights not expressly granted in this license are reserved.

5. Your code and data

Coderica claims no rights in your code, your repositories or the output hashd produces for you. hashd runs on your own machines or servers and does not send your code or project data to Coderica.

6. Third-party services

hashd works with coding agents and other services you choose, such as Anthropic's Claude Code, OpenAI's Codex and your git hosting provider. Your use of those services is governed by your own agreements with their providers, and you are responsible for it, including what you send to them. Coderica is not responsible for third-party services.

7. Feedback

If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.

8. Updates and changes

We may update hashd and this license. If you continue to use hashd after an updated license takes effect, the updated license applies.

9. No warranty

HASHD IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. You are responsible for reviewing changes before you merge or deploy them, and for keeping backups of your code and data.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CODERICA WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO HASHD OR THIS LICENSE. CODERICA'S TOTAL LIABILITY UNDER THIS LICENSE WILL NOT EXCEED [ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS (US$100)]. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

11. Termination

This license ends automatically if you breach it. Coderica may also end it on notice. When it ends, you must stop using hashd and delete it. Sections 4, 5, 7, 9, 10 and 12 survive termination.

12. General

This license is governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION], without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of [VENUE] have exclusive jurisdiction. If any part of it is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. This license, together with any commercial agreement you hold with Coderica, is the entire agreement about hashd; if they conflict, the commercial agreement controls. You may not assign this license without Coderica's written consent.
